The Coorongooba camping area is in the Wollemi National Park and boasts large open grassy areas to set up your camper, caravan or tent.  The area is surrounded by gorgeous colourful cliffs and sits beside a small running creek. There are picnic tables, drop toilets and firepits.  We saw lots of wombat holes so there's a high chance you'll be visited at dusk and dawn. The road into this area is graded dirt road and accessible for 2WD vehicles.
