The Hann Crossing camping area within Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park has 17 'public use' designated sites, which must be booked prior to arrival. This area is accessible by 4wd only and is not suitable for caravans or camper vans. The area is not accessible at all after rain. There are drop toilets and fires are permitted. There are two sites (1 and 20) where you can launch a boat with trailer) and there are three other sites (11,12 and 19) where you can launch a dingie without a trailer. HOWEVER be beware that crocodiles inhabit this area so care must be taken.
